After a bumpy 2020 season, we managed to get through 2021 without any significant problems in the organization due to the Coronavirus. Since the 2021 season is officially a wrap, it is time to focus on the playoffs which most people consider to be the most exciting time for football every year. It’s been 18 weeks since the start of the NFL’s regular season, and during this time we’ve seen some unexpected results from some teams where they moved up or down on the odds table for winning the championship. Since the season ended, the 14 teams, 7 from each conference have made it through the playoffs with the Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers leading the convoy for AFC and NFC. You can find a printable 2022 NFL playoff bracket and schedule for every round here. The Green Bay Packers had an amazing season reaching NFL’s best record at 13-4 thanks to the tiebreaker with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, the playoffs are full of surprises and anything can happen. This is a time where teams invest all their resources, talent, and effort into win the Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl odds have changed from the start of the season, and here are the favorite teams that will most likely win the Super Bowl.
Green Bay Packers (+375)
This is an expected result since they had an impressive season finishing first in NFC. They still remain as favorites for winning the Super Bowl even after the unexpected loss to the Detroit Lions in week 18.
It has been more than a decade since the Green Bay Packers have won a Super Bowl, which is additional motivation for the team. Rodgers has come to the clear MVP and they hold a steady chance of getting their hands on the most desired trophy in the league.
Kansas City Chiefs (+450)
Kansas City Chiefs have been favorites for winning the Super Bowl ever since the start of the season. Even without a first-round bye, the Chiefs are still one of the teams from the AFC with the best chance of winning the Super Bowl.
Their next match is against the Steelers this Sunday and a win could very easily be as much value as a bye.
They had a bumpy season that didn’t always go according to Andy Reid’s plan. With that said, they still managed to finish 12-5, after something clicked in the past 10 weeks getting 9-1.
Buffalo Bills (+800)
Just like Kansas City Chiefs, the Buffalo Bills also had an up-and-down season, but in the end, managed to finish strong with four straight wins which helped them get the AFC East crown. This is rare to see since the AFC East was heavily dominated by the New England Patriots, but ever since Tom Brady left the team, it open up opportunities for other teams like the Buffalo Bills to climb to the top.
One of the most impressive things about the Bills is their defense. After 22 seasons, the Bills managed to have the number 1 defense in the NFL.
They have recently destroyed the Patriots, with Josh Allen on top form, and they conquered the wild card giving them a place in the playoffs. They have a good chance of going all the way.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+800)
The situation with Tampa Bay Buccaneers is incredible. Ever since Tom Brady joined the team, they’ve been playing very well and ended up winning the Super Bowl last year. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finished the season tied with the Packers for the best win-loss record in the NFL and they are on a three-game winning streak.
The Bucs hold a strong chance of winning back-to-back championships, but their path to the trophy will be difficult as they start up against heavy favorites, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Will Tom Brady work his magic once again, and manage to secure the win for the Bucs? – We’ll have to wait and see.
Tennessee Titans (+800)
According to bookmakers, the Titans have a similar chance with the Buccaneers to win the Super Bowl. They hold the first-round bye after finish the season at the top of the table with AFC’s best record at 12-5.
The problem with the Titans is that it is hard to find a pattern of wins since they are a bit uneven with losses to the Steelers and Texans.
However, this doesn’t mean that they have any less chance of getting to win the Super Bowl. After all, it is a competition where even the underdogs can become champions. They’ve opened the season with +2,800 odds for winning the Super Bowl, and they managed to come through and climb up to the highest when it comes to odds.
Los Angeles Rams (+1,000)
Here we have the leader from the NFC West, with a 12-5 this season. They had a bumpy season but still managed to climb at the top of the table and get a real chance of winning the Super Bowl.
Their next match is up against the Arizona Cardinals, which will be a tough challenge since they don’t have a consistent win record against them. However, the Cardinals have a negative record in their last five games, which helped the Rams climb to the top of the table.
