New Delhi: In a bid to maintain the proficient individuals and nice minds within the Gulf nation and assist in nation-building, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has accepted the issuance of a 10-year golden visa for extra professionals, together with PhD holders, physicians, engineers in addition to graduates from sure universities.
The golden visa, a long-term residency programme got here into power in Could 2019 after approval from the Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
As per the Gulf Information, the golden visa may also be granted to holders of specialized levels in synthetic intelligence, massive knowledge, or epidemiology and virology along with the UAE highschool prime graduates together with their households.
The announcement was made by Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in a sequence of tweets.
“At the moment, we accepted granting the 10-year Golden Visa to all PhD holders within the UAE. Additionally, the Golden Visa shall be granted to prime graduates from UAE-accredited universities with a GPA of three.8 and above. UAE Golden Visa may also embrace UAE-based physicians in addition to engineers within the fields of pc science, electronics, programming, electrical energy and biotechnology”, tweeted Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
He added, “Different classes granted UAE Golden Residency are specialists in AI, massive knowledge, virology, epidemiology & UAE’s highschool prime graduates and their households. We’re eager to embrace expertise that drives future improvement and that is solely the start.”
The modifications will happen from December 1, 2020.
